American Pika (Ochotona princeps)

American Pika looking off into the distance on a crisp September morning on Mt. Bierstadt. The pika were all over the mountain and let us get incredibly close. If you look closely you can see my reflection in it's eye! I just love the vibrant orange and green lichens against the red granite. It made for a great shot.
